Exit Cards

Exit cards are an effective way to measure the amount of progress a student is making amd to inform teaching. Exit cards are designed to collect feedback about a lesson from students and are meant check for student understanding at the end of class. They are helpful in prompting students to fuse the information learned in class. An example of an exit card, or as some call them exit “Tickets” or “Slips,” is to ask a student to summarize the key points of the lesson.
