EFFECTIVE TEACHING STRATEGIES
Differentiation is not a mystery formula that only a few can understand. It’s not a series of mandatory instructional strategies. It’s not a recipe. It’s problem solving on behalf of kids.
In differentiated classrooms, teachers create lessons and vary their use of teaching strategies so that all students can learn effectively, according to their needs. There are many ways to include differentiated instruction. Collaborative learning, writer’s workshop, reader’s workshop and inquiry-based learning are all approaches that allow for differentiation in an authentic way.
